UCWDC Contest: All UCWDC contestants must pre-register. All competitors must have a weekend pass and pay for the contest entry fees. Rules: For information on UCWDC contest rules, please go to www.ucwdc.org.
WCS Jack & Jill Contest (WSDC Points Awarded): Every competitor must have a day pass and must pay the contest entry fees. Swing division entries will be per World Swing Dance Council Points Registry. Contestants will be judged individually in preliminary and semi-final rounds and as a couple in the final round. Upper divisions may be asked to “spotlight” as part of the final round of competition. Rules: No gender restriction for leader or follower. No elaborate costumes. No lifts, aerials or acrobatic moves permitted. Juniors may enter the appropriate “ability” division based on points. Sophisticated Division is 35 years of age or older, Masters Division is 50 years of age and older. Sophisticated and Masters may enter all applicable age divisions in addition to their skill division(s). See WSDC for the rules.
All American Jack & Jill Contest: All competitors must have a day pass and pay for the contest entry fees. This contest is open to all divisions, all ages and all abilities dancing together. Contestants will rotate and dance in finals format for the preliminaries. The top couples will be called back to dance finals with their preliminary partner. Rules: No gender restriction for leader or follower. No costumes. No lifts, aerials or acrobatic moves permitted.
Strictly Swing & Just Dance 2-Step Couples Contest: All competitors must have a day pass and pay for the contest entry fees Heated format danced to one, two or three songs ranging from 1.5 minutes to the full song in length. You will not hear your music prior to contest. Depending on the size of the division, a preliminary and a final rounds may be necessary. Upper divisions may be asked to “spotlight” as part of the final round of competition.
Rules: Matching and coordinated outfits are encouraged although not required. No entrances, exits, lifts aerials or acrobatic moves allowed. Good lead/follow technique, timing, teamwork, music interpretation and showmanship will be rewarded by judges. Contestant may enter a division/dance only once. Dance instructors may not enter the novice division. No gender restrictions on leader or follower.
All Divisions: (Swing/Two Step) Open to dancers of any age except Masters (see below). If one contestant in the partnership qualified for the higher division – the couple must dance in the higher division. WSDC points/UCWDC level should be a guideline as to ability level.
Novice: (Swing/Two Step) Contestants have not placed 1st more than 3 times in a novice division of any significant dance contest and neither has placed 1st through 3rd in any higher division of competition.
Intermediate:(Swing/Two Step) Either partner has placed 1st more than once in a novice division and neither partner has placed 1st through 3rd in any advanced competition.
Advanced: (Swing/Two Step) Advanced level dancers or either partner has placed 1st three times or more in any intermediate competition.
Masters Division: (Swing/Two Step) Minimum of 50 years of age and older: not divided into ability levels. Note: Masters may enter their age specific division and/or an ability division.
All Stars/Champions: (Swing/Two Step) Beyond Advanced level dancers. WSDC Points/UCWDC level determine this division.
No gender restrictions for leader or follower.
Winchester Mystery Jack & Jill Contest: Registration will be on site at the event only. See registration for times. All competitors must have a weekend pass and pay for the contest entry fees. This contest is open to all divisions, all ages and all abilities dancing together. Contestants will rotate once and dance in finals format for the preliminaries. The top couples will be called back to dance finals with their partner.
Contestants will dance for 2 – 3 minutes in a medley format. One of the rhythms will be WCS. The others will be ???? (it’s a mystery). Rules:Leader and Follower. No lifts, aerials or acrobatic moves permitted.
Prizes: Cash awards through 5th place or 3rd place depending on size of contest.

Pro/Am & Pro/Pro Spotlight (Non UCWDC/Contemporary): Must register at least 2 hours prior to competition on-site registration. All competitors must have a weekend pass and pay for the contest entry fees.
Rules: No gender restrictions for leader or follower. Any dance rhythm. Maximum of two dance entries per amateur. Costumes optional. Music pre-edited to 1.5 – 2.5 minutes in length. Music must be turned into DJ at least 2 hours prior to competition.
Pro/Am (Non UCWDC/Contemporary): Pre-registration & at least 2 hours prior to competition on-site registration. All competitors must have a weekend pass and pay for the contest entry fees.
Rules: No gender restrictions for leader or follower. No costumes necessary. No lifts, aerials or acrobatic moves permitted.
